I frequently discover objects that inspire new creations when I am just taking a walk, or in some other situation unrelated to art production. These are called “found objects.” My “housekeeping art” has an aspect tied to found objects.

I first learned about found objects when I began studying art. At that time, I used to go out exploring, to discover found objects.

When I look back on that now, I hadn’t fully appreciated the crucial spontaneity of the found object as art. I would set out, deliberately searching for found objects.
